There's no better feeling than learning how to properly handle your new toy! Whether you are thinking of a new purchase, currently own, or are thinking of "stepping up" to a larger vessel, there is a personal program for you. Over half our students have previous boating experience and just want to feel a little more comfortable on their latest purchase.

Instruction Aboard Your Vessel


SAIL or POWER

If you currently own a vessel, this is by far, the best way to learn. Since every vessel possesses different handling characteristics, why not become familiar with your vessel while learning on the water. In addition to your personal instruction, the Captain will gladly inspect your vessel and make recommendations as to how to better improve her ability or seaworthiness.

Personal Docking & Anchoring Instruction

There's nothing more nerve racking than pulling up to the dock on a windy Sunday afternoon while all the experts are watching! Learn how to properly utilize your lines, propeller rotation, etc. to dock your sail or power vessel like a pro. Protect your investment, and be someone your neighbors are happy to see!

Sailing Instruction Programs ...

Whether you are new to sailing or have just purchased a newer or larger vessel, we have a program for you. Captain Shaw will meet you dockside to review your experience and help establish your personal goals

Instruction Aboard Your Vessel

If you currently own a sailing vessel and wish to learn proper line handling and trim technique, this is the way to go! You'll learn how to sail efficiently allowing you to safely maneuver with your crew and look like a professional. A few hours of instruction could save you years of errors!!

Instruction Aboard Our Vessel

This is an excellent vessel for personalized instruction if you do not currently own a sailing vessel. She is equipped with wheel steering, diesel inboard, roller furler, and complete electronics. You'll learn how to read the wind, sail handling and adjustment, sail theory, winch and line handling, etc. You'll be at the helm and act as a crew member. In addition, you'll have lots of fun!
